I love telling Diary what’s new :)
Hi diary. I put up a new blog post today that I’m a little nervous about. I know it could be controversial, but I’m sick of just watching the same mess get made over and over again. Plus it’s not like I named names. If it seems obvious who or what I’m alluding to then that’s on the people that it may or may not be about.
In more pleasant news I’m out of town for a few days to celebrate the new year with someone special. What are you doing for the holiday diary?
Just sitting here on the internet? Because you’re a bunch of blocks of text on my website. Right, duh.

Merry Channukah diary! There was some other holiday too… but I can’t remember what it was.
I’ve been working on another show review for the blog that should be up soon. Also still thinking about how I can redesign this website to make navigating a bit smoother.

I finished another blog post today! This one is about some of the controversy surrounding breastplates.
It’s tricky deciding how much content I want to make completely in character vs. just having candid dialogue with the man behind the mascara. The more I write the more I realize I’m ok alternating between the two. There’s lots people don’t know about this subculture, and if breaking the fourth wall helps educate people then I really don’t mind.

Oh, and I might be making some UI changes to the site! I want things to feel more connected… who knows when I will actually do this but stay tuned for that and another upcoming blog about a shocking true crime event.

Diary, I’ve had the weekend of a lifetime! Two parties and a day out in the big city. I truly am the people’s princess. I saw a great off-Broadway show that I started writing a review for. So there’ll be a new blog up soon maybe probably. You know how I am with deadlines (bad).

I’ve been so tired lately, and a little bummed out. I’m trying to avoid social media but doing a bad job at that. It’s such a nasty habit. Just pick up the bright rectangle, click the little buttons. Swipe swipe swipe. Nothing gained, but little moments of my life lost.
I was able to be a little productive. I started writing a new blog post yesterday. It’s a good first draft, but I get a little too rambly I think. Me, Flaminia, getting distracted? Shocker I know.
Even though there’s some fog in my head things are still looking up socially. I’ve had so many lovely evenings with my family, my boyfriends, and my little catoola. At least some of my dreams have come true.

Good morning, Diary. It’s me, Flaminia! Apologies for my absence. I had a busy 6 days of existing in a liminal state and learning to accept the nature of my reality. I’m mostly back now, and whenever I’m not I can just pretend I’m somewhere else. How would you even know? You’re not a detective; You’re technically not even a real diary.
Anyways, this month should be a lot less stressful than November. I’ve got some parties and getaways planned with friends and liaisons. Maybe I’ll get some project work done here and there too.
